Works great on my CR250, Monday, 17 July 2006
I should just start out by replacing the factory chain before I take my fist ride when buying a new bike, but it\'s hard to throw away something that seems like it should work. After a couple of rides, I got me the D.I.D. 520 x-ring and absolutely love it. I don\'t know about using it on a 450, but it seems perfect for my CR250...I\'ve always had good luck with D.I.D. and my buddies have as well, so I wouldn\'t hesitate buying this chain.
sticking with the two stoke, Monday, 17 July 2006
I know the craze is to move to the four stroke (and maybe I will in a year or two), but I love everything about the CR250! My first CR250 was a \'95 and I\'ve stuck with them ever since. The power delivery and the handling can\'t be beat in my opinion. The suspension might need a little overhaul if you\'re packing a few extra pounds like myself, but stock of the showroom floor, even for the heavy guy, this bike is ready for the track!
Better than my Tech 7\'s, Tuesday, 11 July 2006
Since I broke my foot wearing my Tech 7\'s, I switched to AXO boots and haven\'t been disappointed. I\'ll admit that shifting was a bit weird since the toe is higher than my Alpine Stars, but that only took a couple of rides and I haven\'t even noticed shifting. Again, AXO has never disappointed me with any of their gear!
Nice tire, Monday, 10 July 2006
I really like this tire. Maybe I ride in softer dirt than most, but this hooks up great! I\'ve noticed that when I ride on really hard pack with rocks, it does show wear, but what tire doesn\'t?
