Don\'t waste your time with this chain if you are riding a 450. It will stretch every ride.
Very dated, Sunday, 09 July 2006
I haven\'t ridden the \'06, but I have ridden the \'05, wich is the same bike. I know for \'07 the RM-Z is going to be all new. It seems like it\'s a year late. Compared to the other \'06 250f bikes, this is very dated technology. I would be supprised if any of the dealers were able to move this bike.
Above average, Saturday, 08 July 2006
I\'ve got several riding buddies that are using the \'06 KX-F. I personally have the KTM, but I\'ve ridden this enough to give a decent report. As far as power output goes, I think the KX-F is a little slower than the KTM. I know this bike has been hyped allot this year, and probably for good reason. It handles well, has decent power, and looks pretty killer. Don\'t expect KTMesqe quality from the Kawasaki, but it\'s not going to fall apart after 5 hours like the CRF either.
This machine kicks butt, Saturday, 08 July 2006
This machine absolutely rocks. As far as 4 stroke 250\'s go this is the answer. It has enormous power, all over the spread. Ok, the handling is a little funky at first, but once you get things dialed in to your liking, it works very well. KTM is, in my opinion, the highest quality machines when it comes to fit & finish. No akward air box, no valves that fall apart after 5 hours. Just high quality manufacturing.
Great boots, but hate the booty, Saturday, 08 July 2006
I\'ve never been a fan of the bootie. Why they needed to add that little gizmo, I\'ll never know. I\'ve also got a pair of SG10\'s and it\'s pretty much a toss-up between the Tech 8\'s and those. If anyone can explain why they need a booty, I\'d love to know.
