My last truck
Long live Ford Trucks
Until recently I was the lowliest of creatures.  I was using the faithful minivan pulling a trailer to get my CRF 450 to the track and back.  I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but it is completely demoralizing.  The looks I would receive pulling into the parking area were priceless.  It was a mixture of revulsion and pity.  That all changed around a month ago when I picked up my Ford F250.

Now that I have regained my manhood, I've started to understand why the Supercross series always has a title sponsor from Toyota or Checy Trucks or one of the many other Motorcycle transport builders.  There is just no more masculine way of getting your dirt bike around than to throw it in the back of a truck.  I've never been brand loyal in my motocross bikes or my pickup trucks.  Wherever I can get the best deal is where I do my shopping.  While shopping around however I am noticing that truck manufactures are starting to provide a much better product for toting a dirt bike around.

Motorcycle Insurance
My Ride
Written by matt

I have to admit it. I hate paying for insurance. The whole concept of writing a check for a service that I will probably never use irritates me to no end. But I've been talking to a riding buddy who has been paying for insurance for each of his 4 motorcycles and or quads. I'm not talking street machines where insurance is required either, these are dirt machines.

Crash
Claim in Progress
This got me thinking. How many of you MX'ers or off road guys insure your bikes? Have you ever used the insurance? I believe the process would work something like this. My ride was purchased brand new not even 6 months ago. I've used nothing but the finest of petrol products, and swapped all noticeable stock parts with the latest and shiniest aftermarket counterparts at great personal expense. Then one day, out of the blue, I find my bike missing. It wasn't where I left it when I went to take a leak.

Vegas Supercross
My Ride
Written by greg

If you've never had the opportunity to attend a Supercross race in Las Vegas, don’t wait…start planning your next trip to the “city of lights” to watch the Supercross finale in person!

Watching Supercross on TV is great, but experiencing the atmosphere of the stadium on race day is an event that won't be soon forgotten. My first exposure to Supercross was the 1990 Las Vegas Supercross and I have been lucky enough to attended 12 Supercross races in Las Vegas since. Every year the Vegas finale has some type of battle that makes for an exciting night of racing. Whether you are there to cheer for your favorite rider, to root for the underdog or to see who will be crowned Supercross champion, you can expect an adrenaline filled night of intense racing. This year (2006) was no exception; the showdown between James “Bubba” Stewart and Ricky Carmichael lived up to all of the preseason hype. This race would determine the champion of both the World Supercross title and the AMA Supercross title.
