We've all seen and heard them over the years. The Pit Reporter job has to be a thankless one. They are only called upon to speak when spoken to, and always with the goofy rabbit ears stuck to their heads. Some have had great skill and knowledge about the sport. Some have even had the ability to communicate eloquently to riders after a hard race that ended badly. Others have seemingly no place in the pits, and seem to annoy the Pros as much as they annoy us at home. So here is the lineup, for better or worse. Let us know what you think.
Jamie is currently holding her own in 3rd place in the Pit Reporter Shootout. According to this member she did a good job, "She didn't stick around very long, but while she was here she did a good job." See what others had to say here.
Erin is currently running neck and neck with little Davey Coombs. She has good product knowledge according to this review, "She is almost as good as Davey in the pits, but much easier to look at." See what others had to say here.
The Honda CRF250R is currently trailing the Small Bore 4 Stroke Motocross shootout with an average rating of 0 out of 5. If you ride the CRF, it's time to get out and vote!
The KTM 250 SX-F has a solid grip on second place, just behind the Yamaha. "Ok, the handling is a little funky at first, but once you get things dialed in to your liking, it works very well." What do you think?
The Yamaha YZ250F is the current front-runner with 4 of 5. The newest release from Yamaha seems have all other 250f's covered according to this reviewer, "It is THE best bike of '06. 450's included." Dissagree? You can vote!
Holding it's own in 3rd place is the KX250F. This bike seems to give some ground in the power department according to this review, "As far as power output goes, I think the KX-F is a little slower than the KTM."Feel differently? Exercise your RIGHT TO VOTE!
Sitting right above the CRF is the RM-Z 250. 2 out of 5 is a not the greatest average for a 250, and it seems clear according to this review, "Compared to the other '06 250f bikes, this is very dated technology." Should the RM-Z be in last place? Tell us what you think here.
