Behind you is the desert, in front of you there is only the man with the checkered flag. The KTM 525 SX is a merciless big bike for real men who know what they have to do and know there’s no substitute for this much power.

I don't know how some of you can say that this bike is not good in tight areas or tech rides..... You must be a beginner rider! Not to take anything away from you but this bike has all the power I could ever use and is perfect on all my really tech tree races. Great hill climber, perfect on the dunes and incredible on the track!! I recommend this bike to a more advanced rider who will use it properly.

This is a great engine. The 2006 has fantastic, tractor like power, and you will never need more. The only thing holding this bike back is the suspension. Front and rear are condiserably better than previous years. The fork is still a bit harch and the rear shock is OK. With this bike as a package I would say good. If the suspension is worked, it would be GREAT.

This bike has tons of power, it will never fail you that way. It\'s good for long desert rides but not the best in technical or lots of turns - get\'s heavy real fast. If your looking for big power and easy riding it\'s great otherwise go with a smaller bike. It can be hard to start sometimes too, but that\'s the nature of big bore bikes.
