I actually think the 756 or 756RR hook up quite a bit better than the SI, but Maxxis has a patent on longevity. The SI\'s aren\'t going to last as long as the IT, but you will last longer than most Dunlops. For race day I usually slap on a 756, then toss it at the end of the day.

After trying a few front tires, stock, 756, and the Maxxis IT. I was pretty dead set on the Maxxis IT as my prefered choice. I heard some rumor about the SI being a more prefered choice up front, and thought I would give it a try. For the past year I have been sold on running the SI up front. The hookup seems to be the most versitile even thought it is a soft terrain tire. The wear is a little greater than the IT, but the overall performance is definitely wll worth the slightly added wear. I havent yet found a better all around tire to use that wears well, and hooks up in just about anything.

I\'ve tried several of dunlop tires. The 756 didn\'t last more than 2 rides. The SI is a really solid tire that seems fairly confident even on hard terrain. The front is exceptional.
