Description

MSRP $375.95 -  $399.95

It's a given that we think all our helmets are cool. But when we're talking about the new Moto-8 and it's state-of-the-art Velocity Flow Ventilation™ system, we mean cool as in temperature...as in cool-and-dry and that "is there really something on my head right now?" kinda comfort. Oh sure, its distinctive look, styling and graphics are cool too, but the Moto-8's not just another pretty facemask. Before the sparkly paint and the sleek lines, its function was designed on the trail, tested in the wind tunnel and proven on the track—over and over until we got it right. Then we worked on the details like the channeled Dritime™, Dri-Lex® comfort liner, the QuickFlip™ visor screws and lammy suede memory foam pads that conform to your face and head for a custom fit.

To quote pratbomb: \"Much better quality than the crap that\'s being built in Taipai or some other foresaken country. Buy American!\" Would you stop wearing your Moto8 if I told you that ALL Bell helmets (motorcycle and bicycle - can\'t speak for the auto racing ones) are made in CHINA (yes, as in THAT communist country)?

I too have had Bell helmets for a long time, I got my first in the \'70s. For whatever reason, the rubber nose piece guard has already come loose on one side, hmm. I think there needs to be a category for fit/comfort when rating helmets because I would give this a 5. I may have been a little harsh giving it a 2 rating on the durability, but that rubber piece shouldn\'t have come loose in my opinion. Anyway, this helmet looks awesome, it may not be the lightest helmet made, but I don\'t notice the weight at all and it is way lighter than the helmets of old. Bell is the way to go!

I\'ve been using Bell helmets since the Moto 3. I will never switch. The Moto 8 is the best helmet I\'ve seen. Much better quality than the crap that\'s being built in Taipai or some other foresaken country. Buy American!
