Description

Offers outstanding intermediate-to-soft-terrain performance, yet its versatile design gives it a wide range of ability on harder surfaces. Shoulder knobs feature recessed biting edges for enhanced traction in ruts and flat corners. Rear tread pattern provides maximum straight-line grip for excellent starts and improved braking. Reduced tire weight produces less unsprung weight.

I really like this tire. Maybe I ride in softer dirt than most, but this hooks up great! I\'ve noticed that when I ride on really hard pack with rocks, it does show wear, but what tire doesn\'t?

As far as grip exiting corners, or traction in a wide range of terrain, this is the best tire I\'ve ridden. It doesn\'t last at all, but if you know that before you buy it, you probably aren\'t buying it for longevity. It\'s quite a bit lighter than the Maxxis tires, wich has an impact in suspension performance, breaking, and turning.

These are great tires... if you can afford to replace them every other ride. The knobs rounded off on the first ride, and once they started to round, the hook up you enjoy at first goes away very quickly. If I had unlimited resources though, I would run these every ride.
