If you’re in to radical bikes the 200cc is a definite choice however if you’re not perhaps you could go with something a bit smaller, like the 125 dirt bike.  Beginners should stay clear of the 200cc bikes they could throw you for a loop.  Again I would recommend a smaller bike such as the 125cc bike or even the 85cc bike. 

The 200cc is great for the radical rider seeking thrills but if you’re interested in racing be sure to check out the bike requirements because more than likely the 200cc won’t have a racing class.  The typical dirt bike racing class is your 85cc bikes and your 110cc bikes.  The 200cc bikes are a great choice for the radical rider who has a need for speed and likes a lot of power but not necessarily the best bike choice if you’re interested in dirt bike racing.
