In 1999 Crowerpower was formed. Racing mini bikes with our kids and friends was our passion and at that time we switched our attention to making racing camshafts for these new bikes with the 4 stroke movement. The XR50 and the YZF 400 were big back then and we started learning how to make these bikes, with our cams, go faster than anyone. So then in 1994 we started really seeing the 4 stroke future and relocated our shop from San Diego to Lake Elsinore, California; the hub of the MX world. KTM racing was here, the tracks were here and all the riders and go-fast shops were in this area of California. That year we moved and made huge strides with Kyle Lewis and the XXX Racing Team testing our cams. Our R&D paid dividends with a huge hole shot at the Glen Helen national using our first 450 Honda cam called the G2. Josh Grant was coming onto the scene using Crowerpower cams as we’ll.Now with a few more years of 4 stroke experience under our belt, Crowerpower is solidly connected to the industry and making prototype and race cams for Yamaha, KTM, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki. With these new 4 stroke engines Crowerpower is still breaking the barriers of performance with the highest quality race cams and engine kits for your newest 4 stroke racer. |

Well my dad Bruce started Crower Cams in 1956 with his custom cam grinding for drag cars, street cars and Nascar. He knew more about cams and engines than anyone, and made a large automotive manufacturing company and is still in business after 50 years in San Diego.
