Written by Steve Ross

Factory Connection has been a leader in the suspension industry since 1992. We are solely on suspension and only in the off-road segment of the industry (MX, SX, GNCC, Enduro, Hare Scramble, Desert, SuperMoto and Recreational).

Originating in Rochester NH where the main office is still located today; Factory Connection also has two company owned / operated facilities in Corona CA and St. Nicephore Quebec CANADA. The company owned facilities mirror the exact mission statement of the main office and all valving specs and related testing is handled by main office.

Factory Connection is known for their innovative products, excellent quality and outstanding, industry leading customer / technical support. The highest quality Fork / Shock Springs, Works Suspension, DLC coatings, Works Oil Lock Collars, Titanium Pressure Springs, Works Spring Seats, Linkages and more are just some of the products that they offer for 65cc – 650cc bikes.

The commitment Factory Connection made to racing, testing and development at the highest level begun in the mid-90’s and everyone took notice when Mike LaRocco joined Factory Connection racing in 1998.  LaRocco helped bring the team to the forefront and retired from the same team in 2006 leaving a legacy that is in the history books.  Factory Connection continues to develop suspension settings and products at the highest levels of the sport with teams like: SoBe / No Fear / Samsung / Honda, Team Am Pro Yamaha, Team Morgan Racing Yamaha Canada, KTM Canada.

Amateur racing is a major priority to Factory Connection and Rick “Ziggy” Zielfelder (owner) insures a presence is at every major amateur national to support the talented starts of our future.  Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Brandon Mays, Cooper Webb, Ty Worthington, Michael Picone are just a few of the riders from the top level amateur scene.

2006 and beyond are very exciting for Factory Connection.  Kevin Windham continues to be at the front and the team is looking for a top rider to replace Mike LaRocco for 2007.  Lites riders Josh Grant, Billy Laninovich, Tommy Hahn, Joaquim Rodrigues and Jake Weimer are all very talented and always a threat.  With new sponsors: Sobe / No Fear / Samsung, Factory Connection boasts the largest team 7 riders in the professional ranks and undoubtedly one of the most respected as well.
