I had a set of these IMS pegs on my CRF450. The pegs required me to grind off the thick powdercoating just to mount them on the bike. And they also need the coating ground on the bottom so the pegs would lay level. Not a big deal but pretty lame.

Awsome pegs - I wish I still had some!, Thursday, 20 July 2006

If you read my review on the Fastway pegs, you will know why I don\'t still have IMS pegs on my bike anymore, but I wish I did. These pegs had the best grip of any peg I have run before or since. Even in extremely muddy conditions, I had no problem maintaining a good grip on my pegs. The look is top notch - with a little buffing, they have some serious \'bling\' factor and really dress up the bike. They fit my bike like a glove and held up to the usual abuse very well. By bike took a tumble down some slick-rock in Moab, UT and slid about 50\' on its side. Needless to say the peg on that side was destroyed, but it completely saved my bike and there was hardly a scratch on it. I would recommend these pegs in a heartbeat.
