Children’s dirt bikes come in many different shapes and sizes and are produced by many different dirt bike manufacturers. A kid’s dirt bike is typically smaller in body size as well as the cc number or piston placement. There are hundreds of dirt bike Internet sites out there that can help you find the right bike for your child. However there are a few bikes I would like to recommend for small children. There are a lot of children’s bikes to choose from and your choices are limitless. For small children ages 4 to seven you probable want to stay with something under 100cc. A couple bikes that may be ideal for children ages 4 to 7 are the Viking. The body is a bit squatty and is lower to the ground for those little legs. The Viking bike is an automatic 43cc dirt bike with a 2-stroke motor that is air-cooled and has an electric and pulls start. This is a great bike for beginning dirt bike riders. Another bike ideal for 4 to 7 year olds is the tiger with its 50cc two-stroke engine and automatic start. This bike is proven reliable and affordable. For children a little older I would recommend a slightly larger bike with more capacity. For children 6 to 10 years of age there are two bikes I recommend but by all means do your own research to find the one best for your child. The first bike I recommend is the Monza- Mini Racer. With only 40cc’s it has a great deal of power and speed, handles fantastically and can be a great deal of fun for young children. Another great choice for kids’ ages 6 to 10 is the Terra available with 50cc and 90cc. This is a four stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, kick-start bike with a four-speed semi automatic motor. To find out more about these bikes and others visit your favorite sites on the Internet. Many of these sites will be happy to help you locate the dirt bike that is right for your child. |
