Description

Scott USA enters the MX boot market with the distinctive Genius line. From what I have heard about these boots, they are extraordinarily comfortable, and provide fantastic protection.

Hopefully these boots will mark a turning point in the advancement of MX boot technology. How many pair of leather ski boots do you see on the slopes nowadays anyway?

Anyone familiar with Scott USA and their line of bicycles, both road and mountain, know the kind of innovation they bring to every new market they enter. I'm glad to see them bring this same innovation to the MX boot market.

These boot look like ski boots, but they are very comfortable.

I owned 2 pair off the old Scott Boots years ago and loved them. There were breakage of parts on the old ones too but the soles last better than what the new style does. Eventhough there were breakage problems, I never had any problems. The old ones seemed a bit clanky yet comfortable great mobility at least foot range of motion. The performace issue was easily overcame and worth it for the safety perfomance issue. After breaking my leg with leather boots, I just felt safer and more confident in my riding with the added protection much like the Leat Neck Brace.

I look forward to trying these boots out but really trying to decide on them or the Sidis.$$$$$

You can't buy a more protective and comfortable boot on the market. I think in time, with more developement the Scott boots would truly be ready for market. Raced with them only 5 times. Already need new sole pads and one of the straps pulled off the rivets. Scott will replace but I have to send my boots to Utah. I can't race without my boots!
